We are proud to announce that we will be hosting the 2008
NGW book awards for books published in 2007/2008. This is
not your ordinary book award and will certainly be one the
world has needed to be tuned into.
The NGW awards will only judge Self-Published and Small
Press Published Books. We will not accept books that are
with large mainstream publishers.

Entry Rules & Deadlines:
We will begin accepting books on March 1, 2008. On March 1st the address to where you should send your book will be listed here along with an entry form you must file before the October 31st Deadline.
We will accept books published in 2007 this year only since it is our first awards event.
If you are a member of the NGW there is no entry fee; however if you are not a member the entry fee is $35.00 per book.
All entries will receive a free one year membership with the NGW unless they opt out.
If you have a book published in 2008 after the deadline you may enter an ARC copy of the book for consideration; however if your book is not ready for ARC publication we will accept you for the 2009 NGW Awards based on the publication date listed in Bowkers Books in Print.
All books must be in paperback or hardback version. We are not judging E-Books this year. At this time, in our young state of emergence we must stick to this policy.
Your book must be assigned an ISBN to qualify.
We accept all genre's of work including fiction, poetry, and non-fiction. Please no technical manuals.
Once we receive your entry we will notify you if you are a finalist by November 30. Please do not email us regarding the status of your book.
We will host an awards ceremony with one of our convention/event members in 2009.
